Hi, Im Alan Clowes chief instructor at Dorset UMA. With previous sports and martial arts experience including Judo, Ice hockey and boxing I found a local Choi kwang do class to enjoy with my two daughters in 2011. As i progressed and I found this particular martial art had a profound effect on my general wellbeing and attitude. I felt the need to share these benefits in a new area and moved to Dorset in 2015 and started classes in Southbourne as an independent instructor.
Now as Dorset universal martial art we are best placed as instructors to cater for our local students.
